社会任职

中国生物医学工程学会生物材料分会秘书长、中国复合材料学会生物复合材料分会副主任、广东省人体生物组织工程学会常务理事。担任:Tissue Engineering, Langmuir, Acta Biomaterialia, Biomedical Materials,Materials Science and Engineering无机材料学报,硅酸盐学报等学术期刊的论文稿件评审人。

现为华南理工大学材料学院教授、博士生导师;

华南理工大学生物医学工程研究院常务副院长;

国家人体组织功能重建工程技术研究中心副主任;

广东省生物医学工程重点实验室副主任。

研究情况

长期从事生物医学材料研究,研究方向涉及生物活性玻璃与陶瓷、溶胶-凝胶及纳米仿生合成生物医学材料、高生物响应特性仿生复合型骨修复材料及组织工程支架等。在材料的组成、多级结构仿生设计和制备、材料表面修饰、材料结构和性能的测试表征、材料的生物矿化特性、材料与细胞间的相互作用等方面做了较多研究。在美国从事研究工作期间参加了美国NIH项目两项,对于生物活性玻璃的组成、结构和生物活性之间的关系、生物活性机理以及生物活性涂层的制备进行了较系统和深入的研究。回国后先后承担了20多项国家和省、市级科研项目。主持研制的医用可切削生物活性微晶玻璃用于椎板置换40余例,最长者已达15年以上,收到良好的治疗效果;主持研制的医用生物活性玻璃微孔材料被临床应用于骨肿瘤切除后的骨缺损填充70余例,使病人切除部位的骨组织得以重建和修复。

近年来作为项目负责人承担的部分科研项目包括:

国家重点基础研究发展计划(973 计划)课题;材料诱导干细胞定向分化的微环境及其构建国家科技支撑计划重点项目(863计划)子课题;新型牙种植体及桩核修复材料及产品国家高技术研究发展计划(863计划)项目子课题;骨修复用生物活性人工骨材料与生物活性人工骨的研究国家高技术研究发展计划(863计划)项目子课题;非天然角膜基质的研制国家自然科学基金重点项目;具有基因激活作用的新型生物活性材料关键科学问题研究国家自然科学基金面上项目;智能型高生物响应特性骨齿科修复材料的研究国家自然科学基金面上项目;CaO-P2O5-SiO2系统生物活性纳米粉体-胶原基骨修复材料的仿生制备及性能研究国家自然科学基金面上项目;基因介导型骨修复材料及支架的制备与结构性能研究。
