张立峰,男,1972年8月出生于河北丰润。他于1998年在北京科技大学获得冶金工程专业博士学位,并成为该校冶金与生态工程学院的院长、教授和博导。他还是教育部长江学者特聘教授、美国自然科学基金会主审评委和中国自然科学基金会材料学部国际评委。他的研究方向包括洁净钢和非金属夹杂物、铝和硅的净化和循环再利用以及冶金过程数值模拟仿真。他曾获得美国钢铁协会连续铸钢最佳论文奖和美国材料金属及矿业协会青年领袖奖。目前,他担任北方工业大学的党委副书记和校长。

2012年初回国任北京科技大学冶金与生态工程学院院长。
历任日本东北大学工学部日本学术振兴会外国人特别研究员、美国伊利诺大学香槟分校机械工程系Research Scientist、挪威科技大学材料科学与工程系教授、美国密苏里科技大学材料科学与工程系助理教授、副教授。
2022年1月,任北方工业大学党委副书记、校长。[1]
科研成就
纯净钢与夹杂物,纯净金属(钢铁、铝、太阳能用硅)的净化、连铸和循环再利用,金属制备过程中的流动、传热、传质、凝固的数值模拟仿真,太阳能用硅和电子废弃物的绿色回收工艺及基础研究。
已经发表230多篇科研论文,其中刊物论文100多篇,多数为国际发表。至2011年9月为止,文章被SCI检索50多篇,EI检索140多篇。所发表的文章被他人引用至少500多次;承担了9项纵向课题,包括自然科学基金重点项目;承担了36项企业项目,涵盖了国内宝钢、首钢在内的18家钢铁公司;发表英文刊物论文30篇、中文刊物论文19篇、国内外会议论文60余篇;被授权3项发明专利、27项实用新型专利。为国内外60多个刊物评审稿件。
在国际、国内会议、企业、大学做过160余次演讲,其中多次为主办方邀请。是过程冶金类国际刊物Metallurgical and Materials Transaction B . 和Iron and Steel Technology 审稿委员会委员(Key Reader)。受邀先后为26个国际刊物审理稿件。多次组织主持国际会议,如美国矿物、金属与材料协会(TMS)年度国际会议、美国钢铁协会(AIST)年度国际会议、国际太阳能会议、材料科学与技术国际会议、国际资源回收会议等等。
承担和参与了60多项国际研究课题,课题来源:美国自然科学基金、美国能源部、美国国防部、美国模铸冶金学会、挪威学术理事会、欧盟研究基金、德国研究理事会、日本学术振兴会、和一些世界著名的钢铁企业(例如纽柯钢铁、宝钢)、铝业公司(例如海德鲁铝业、美国铝业)、光伏用硅企业等等。
