邹广田,1938年7月18日生于吉林长春,物理学家,中国科学院院士,吉林大学教授、凝聚态物理专业博士生导师,吉林大学超硬材料国家重点实验室主任。
1962年邹广田毕业于吉林大学物理系;1965年于吉林大学研究生毕业;1985年被评为吉林省拔尖人才;1990年被国家人事部授予中青年有突出贡献专家; 1995年当选为国际高压科学与技术协会执委;2001年当选为中国科学院院士。
邹广田主要从事于高压相变与压力导致的新效应、地球及行星内部物质的高压、高压实验技术、超硬材料和多功能高压相材料等方面的研究工作。

1938年7月18日,邹广田出生于吉林省怀德县。
1962年,邹广田毕业于吉林大学物理系。
1965年,邹广田于吉林大学研究生毕业。
1985年,邹广田被评为吉林省拔尖人才。
1990年,邹广田被国家人事部授予中青年有突出贡献专家。
1995年,邹广田当选为国际高压科学与技术协会执委。
1997年,邹广田当选为国际高压科学与技术协会副主席。
2001年,邹广田当选为中国科学院院士。
科研成就
• 科研综述
邹广田注重发展实验技术,倡导建立创新的实验设备;领导创建了国际上前五个获得百万大气压的实验室之一——超硬材料国家重点实验室;发展了静水压实验技术,曾创造国际上静水压的产生与标定的记录;在国际上首次发现和确定了200余个高压新相、多种新的压致相变类型和新奇的压力效应,提出了一些新的压致相变机制,拓展了对高压下物质世界的认识。
邹广田是国际上最早开展地球及行星内部物质的高压研究的物理学学者之一,在该领域做出了许多开拓性工作。这些工作为物理学家、地球物理学家探索地核和地幔中的物质研究开创了诸多新机遇。他也是中国国内超硬多功能薄膜材料和多功能高压相材料的主要开拓者之一。“七五”期间,他领导的课题组于1987年研制出中国国内第一片金刚石薄膜,世界上第一片按设计图案选择性生长的金刚石薄膜,第一片异质外延单晶金刚石膜,在国际上首次将CVD金刚石膜用做半导体激光器的热沉,此技术已成为大功率半导体激光器散热的主要方法之一。
