氢原子百科 
袁萍，女，1963年出生，甘肃古浪人。西北师范大学物理与电子工程学院教授，博士生导师。主要进行应用光谱分析和雷电物理方面的研究。将原子结构理论应用于闪电物理的研究，将理论计算和实验观测相结合，研究了不同强度闪电放电的光谱特征及闪电放电通道的物理特性。[1]

1984年6月起留校在西北师范大学物理系任教。
2007年5月中国科学院寒区旱区环境与工程研究所博士后流动工作站出站，主要从事等离子体光谱分析和雷电物理方面的研究。
2017年5月13日做客省图公益讲座——周末名家讲坛。

1992年至今担任物理专业《热学》课程教学。
2004年至今担任物理专业《力学》课程教学。

先后在《物理学报》《Chinese physics》《光谱学与光谱分析》《地球物理学报》《光学学报》《原子与分子物理学报》等知名期刊发表学术论文四十余篇。
主持和参加了国家自然科学基金、省自然科学基金、甘肃省高校等资助的科研项目。
参加的科研项目先后多次获得甘肃省科委和高校科技进步奖。
将原子结构理论应用于闪电物理的研究，将理论计算和实验观测相结合，研究了不同强度闪电放电的光谱特征及闪电放电通道的物理特性，同时也填补了我国在这一研究领域的空白。
