牛仔和法国人，又名Français vus par, Les，是一部由大卫·林奇导演，哈利·戴恩·斯坦通、Frederic Golchan等主演的在1988年上映的剧情片。

三个牛仔在农场消磨着下午时光。一个戴着贝雷帽穿得很欧洲化的迷路人出现在山坡上。他们搜查了他的手提箱后，他们发现他是法国人，而且带了一箱子宝贝。虽然语言上有很大障碍，但友善使他们走到一起。这时候一群姑娘带来了啤酒----他们通宵狂欢。他们一起唱《牧区的家》，用法语欢呼＂法兰西万岁！＂

大卫·林奇( David Lynch )的一部鲜为人知的短片以20世纪之交美国西部荒野的一个牧场为背景，讲述了一位头发花白、听觉障碍的牛仔西尔姆( Silm )和他的两个朋友达斯丁( Dusty )和皮特( Pete )捕捉到一个神秘、衣着光鲜的法国人的故事。由于无法理解对方的意思，说俚语的牛仔和不讲英语的法国人使他们无法理解对方的意思...^[1]
