梅捍卫,1965年12月出生,博士,上海市农业生物基因中心研究员,上海海洋大学硕士研究生导师,上海市农业领军人才,享受国务院特殊津贴。
主要从事水稻基因定位和分子育种等科研工作,针对水稻抗旱性和养分高效等特性,发掘相关有利基因并提供育种应用。先后主持或参与承担国家973计划、863计划、国家自然科学基金、农业部948专项、市基础研究重大、科技兴农重点项目、美国比尔与梅琳达盖茨基金国际合作项目等科研任务。获得4项上海市科技进步或技术发明一等奖,获得1项国家技术发明二等奖,在《Proteomics》、《BMC Plant Biology》等刊物发表通讯作者SCI论文4篇,累计影响因子13.07。[1]
