《我真的爱死你》是一部1990年由劳伦斯·卡斯丹执导的美国喜剧犯罪片，主演包括凯文·克莱恩、崔茜·尤玛等。影片改编自1983年发生在宾夕法尼亚州阿伦敦的一起真实事件，讲述了妻子为了报复丈夫的背叛而多次试图杀害他的故事。

First time co-starring for 瑞凡·菲尼克斯 and 基努·里维斯, who forged a strong friendship the previous year when Reeves was making 温馨家族 (1989), in which he played alongside Phoenix's off-screen girlfriend 玛莎·普林顿 and his younger brother 华金·菲尼克斯. Reeves and Phoenix began talks with 格斯·范·桑特 during filming and subsequently starred in 我自己的爱达荷 (1991).Dame 琼·普莱怀特's husband, Sir 劳伦斯·奥利弗 died shortly before filming ended. When told he was deathly ill, she filmed her remaining scenes in one day and flew back to England.Loosely based on the true story of Frances Toto and her four unsuccessful attempts to kill her cheating husband, Anthony Toto, in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1984. Anthony spent four days in bed after being drugged and shot by Frances and her friends; who spent four years in prison after pleading guilty to attempted murder. The Turner Classic Movies website states that this movie's "story was inspired by events in the lives of Anthony and Frances Toto and Barry Giacobe."
