夏江海,现任浙江大学地球科学学院杰出教授、博士生导师。高频面波多道分析方法的原创者之一。据SCI期刊检索统计,已发表论文70余篇,总被引近1400次,h-指数18, g-指数35。目前正在组建地球内部成像和探测实验室。实验室研究方向是近地表地球物理,地震勘探,计算地球物理和地球物理软件开发。曾任美国堪萨斯大学堪萨斯地质调查所研究员,中国地质大学(武汉)教授、博士生导师、地球内部成像和探测实验室(Subsurface Imaging and Sensing Laboratory (SISL))主任。
1977年至1979年在成都地质学院任教。1982年至1986年在武汉地质学院任教。1992年获得美国堪萨斯大学地质学专业(地球物理方向)博士学位。曾任美国堪萨斯大学堪萨斯地质调查所博士后研究助理(Post-doctoral Associate),助理研究员(Assistant Scientist), 副研究员(Associate Scientist),研究员(Senior Scientist)。从20世纪90年代开始从事近地表物质地球物理场响应及其应用方面的研究。近20年来主要研究方向是高频面波方法基础理论和应用。
2016年9月26日,夏江海加盟浙江大学地球科学学院。
人物经历
作为主要的研究人员,所在堪萨斯地质调查所课题组获得2002年“美国勘探地球物理学家学会杰出贡献奖”(The Society of Exploration Geophysicists Distinguished Achievement Award),被誉为国际浅层地震技术的引导者。因在高频面波研究中的贡献,获勘探地球物理学家学会近地表地球物理分会2008年“The Harold Mooney Award”奖。获美国环境与工程地球物理学家学会2008年年会最佳论文奖(Selected Best Paper)。受美国勘探地球物理学家学会(SEG)、美国地球物理学会(AGU)及美国工程与环境地球物理学家学会(EEGS)邀请为专著Advances in Near-surface Seismology and Ground-Penetrating Radar撰写高频面波方法研究的综述论文。作为特邀人员在环境与工程地球物理国际会议(ICEEG)、美国地球物理学会、美国勘探地球物理学家学会、美国地质学会(GSA)、欧洲地质学家和工程师学会(EAGE)、中国地球物理学会(CGS)、韩国地球物理学会(KSEG)、台湾大地工程学会等学术会议和学术机构作主旨或特邀报告30次。
