吕颂辉,1963年7月出生,是一位暨南大学教授、博士生导师,同时也是暨南大学赤潮与水环境研究中心的主任。他在2001年于香港大学生态学系获得博士学位,并在2000-2001年间在香港大学进行博士后研究。吕颂辉曾是美国伍兹霍尔海洋研究所的高级访问学者,并在日本东京大学、丹麦哥本哈根大学和意大利国家海洋生物研究所进行过访学。他在全球有害藻华的生态学和海洋学(GEOHAB)国际研究计划科学指导委员会、中国海洋与湖沼学会、中国藻类学会、中国海洋与湖沼学会海洋环境专业委员会、中国生态学会海洋生态专业委员会和南中国海赤潮学会等多个学术组织中担任要职。此外,他还兼任多个重点实验室的学术委员会委员,并担任多个国际海洋学和生态学主流期刊的审稿人。
