Acquiesce

Acquiesce在1995年4月作为some might say的B-side发行（诺叔脑袋给驴踢了吧）。1998年，通过歌迷在官网的投票，使得acquiesce收入B-side精选集the masterplan。

主歌是烂唱的，副歌是诺唱的，因为诺说烂上不去调。这首歌便成了第一支兄弟俩共同主唱的歌曲。两人共同主唱的只有两首，另外一首是let there be love。

这歌是诺在去录音棚录definitely maybe的路上写的。当时火车晚点，趁着这个功夫，他写下了acquiesce的部分歌词。The masterplan专辑封套这样描述：这首歌说的是广义的友谊，并不特指gallagher兄弟俩之间的关系（The song is about friendship in the widest sense and not, as often speculated, about the Gallagher brothers themselves.）。

很多歌迷认为这首歌有资格进入专辑morning glory，也有歌迷认为这首歌足以作为单曲发行。Alan MaGee试图说服诺用acquiesce代替some might say作为单曲发行。诺拒绝了，因为他觉得some might say已经完成，而且他不愿意再为acquiesce录一个B-side。但是noel承认，包括acquiesce，the masterplan在内的几首歌完全应该作为单曲和专辑歌曲发行。
