黄震 教授。他是中美化学及化学生物学教授协会(CAPA) 第一任主席,以及三位创始人之一。他为学术界做了很多工作,为中美学术和科技交流做出了积极贡献。他被选为中国和美国联邦政府研究基金的评审员以及国际多种高端学术刊物的评审员。他曾担任多本书藉刊物的编辑或客座编辑。黄震教授曾就读于四川大学、北京大学、瑞士苏黎世联邦理工大学,以及哈佛大学医学院,师从2009年诺贝尔医学奖得主杰克·邵斯达克(Jack Szostak)教授。
他是硒核酸、RNA核酸基因芯片、硒核酸生物平台技术及其硒核酸晶体结构研究的独创发明人。他在《美国化学会杂志》,《德国应用化学》,《核酸研究》及其他专业杂志和刊物上发表文章100多篇。他的研究项目多次获奖。他曾独立获得21项研究基金,其中包括美国联邦政府研究基金、美国佐治亚州政府研究基金、癌症研究杰出专家基金和企业界研究基金的支持。其研究项目已经获得或正在申请中国、美国、欧洲及国际专利及发明(30多项)。他也使用自己发明的创新技术来积极推动大核酸产业的发展以及生物医药技术的进步。

1984-1987年,获得北京大学硕士学位,生物有机化学专业
1988-1994年,获得瑞士苏黎世联邦理工大学(ETH, Zurich)博士学位,化学生物学专业。
1994-1998年,哈佛大学医学院遗传系博士后,从师于2009年诺贝尔医学奖得主邵斯达克教授(Professor Jack Szostak)
1998年, 被聘入纽约城市大学布鲁克伦学院为助理教授
2004年, 升为副教授,并被聘入乔治亚州立大学化学系
2009年, 升为乔治亚州立大学终身正教授,获大学杰出教授奖,并为美国佐治亚州癌症研究杰出研究员

目前他的主要研究兴趣包括:硒核酸以及碲核酸创新性研究,包括生物化学合成,核糖核酸衍生化和核酸及核酸-蛋白复合物晶体结构及功能研究,以核酸和核酸-蛋白复合物结构测定为基础的新药研发,核酸适配体和核酶的筛选及功能研究,疾病的核酸检测诊断,核酸基因测序,高保真碱基识别与RNA芯片,核酸抗肿瘤药物研究。
