陆夕云,男,出生于1963年,中国科学院院士,江苏泰州人,毕业于中国科学技术大学,现任中国科学技术大学教授、南京航空航天大学兼职教授。主要从事湍流大涡模拟和直接数值模拟、游动和飞行的生物运动力学等方面的研究工作。他先后在日本东京大学、美国休斯顿大学、田纳西大学空间研究院等高校以访问教授、访问研究员和博士后等身份进行学术交流和合作研究。[1]

承担和参加国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家自然科学基金重大研究计划项目、国家科技部“973”子课题、国家杰出青年科学基金、海外青年学者合作研究基金(即杰出青年基金B类)、中国科学院知识创新工程重要方向项目、中国科学院海外合作研究项目、中国科学院“百人计划”资助项目以及“百人计划”终期评估优秀后续资助项目、教育部“跨世纪优秀人才计划”资助项目等20多个科研项目的研究。
中国空气动力学会常务理事;国家自然科学基金委员会学科专家评审组成员;教育部高等学校力学专业教学指导委员会副主任委员;多个学会专业委员会委员;北京大学湍流与复杂系统国家重点实验室兼职教授、南京航空航天大学兼职教授;JournalofBionicsEngineering、ActaMechanicaSinica、JournalofHydrodynamics、水动力学研究与进展、中国科学技术大学学报等学术期刊的编委;参与组织多个学术会议,并多次应邀在国际国内学术会议作邀请报告;多个国际学术期刊审稿人。
