研究方向

主要开展复杂纳米结构材料的化学可控合成和材料体系的物化性能研究。重点针对多孔性功能材料的可控制备以及该类材料体系在生物医药(微纳米载药胶囊、疫苗佐剂、纳米抗菌剂)领域的应用基础研究。

研究方向包括:发展复杂纳米结构的可控合成技术,探讨功能性纳米材料结构形貌演化规律,揭示相关纳米材料的生长机制,研究相关产物的物性及潜在应用(新型纳米佐剂、纳米载药胶囊、高效纳米抗菌剂开发应用)。

We synthesize nanomaterials and study their fundamental chemistry, photochemistry, electrochemistry, optical, and biomaterials properties. Our emphasis is on the development of biocompatible materials from natural and synthetic polymers, porous nanostructures. Research topics include drug delivery materials, next generation adjuvant for vaccine delivery,in-vivo imaging with luminescent or magnetic nanoparticles, batteries, and chemical or biochemical sensors.[1]

纳米材料合成研究

低维复杂纳米结构材料的化学可控合成探索和材料体系的物化性能研究。研究方向主要为多孔性功能材料的制备及其在环境、能源、生物医药领域的应用基础研究。探索复杂纳米结构的可控合成、发展相应的制备技术、探讨功能性纳米材料结构形貌演化规律所涉及的物理化学规律,揭示相关无机 有机纳米材料的生长机制,并且研究相关产物的物性及潜在应用。

(1)采用胶体粒子反复充填结合氧化铝模板技术,成功的制备了形貌独特的多孔氧化物半导体氧化钨纳米线阵列,实现了对纳米孔洞大小以及在纳米线的长度方向上分布的初步控制,并且对其微观结构作了研究。该研究结果在国际知名的核心期刊Nanotechnology发表后引起国际关注。著名的Wiley-VCH属下的Small杂志立即报道了和评述了我们的这一工作。同时,在短短的一个半月里,该论文被国际同行下载超过250次,英国物理学会的Nanotechnology编辑部来信告知该文被列为当季TOP 10% 研究论文。该论文也被剑桥科学文摘(CSA)的空间科学和高科技数据库(Aerospace & High Technology Database)收录;国际著名的科学家C. N. R. Rao等人在J. Mater. Chem等刊物上引用了该文。

(2) 扩展一种能够确保局部平衡和稳态气氛的气相沉积方法,研究了通过控制锡催化剂合金液滴小球的布阵来实现获得大面积、无束缚的氧化硅纳米线阵列。更为有趣的是,通过一个时间序列的试验且结合场发射扫描电镜(FE-SEM)观测,捕捉到了阵列中氧化硅纳米线奇特的气-液-固(VLS)生长方式。该结果发表在美国化学学会的物理化学杂志B J.Phys.Chem.B。审稿人认为这一研究成果将有益于更好的理解氧化硅纳米线阵列的形成机制,拓展了对气-液-固(VLS)生长机制引导的奇异的生长现象的认识,同时也将有助于可控合成具有特定形貌、取向的纳米结构。

(3) 采用化学气相沉积CVD两步反应手段成功的制备了半导体氧化物SnO2纳米结构。实现了从纳米线,纳米带,到纳米同质等级结构等多种形貌产物的可控生长研究。并且对其生长机制作了分析。研究了其Raman谱学特征和光致发光特性以及发光机制。

(4)采用价格低廉硫酸钠作为无机结构导向剂(Structure-directing agents),通过水热方法在较低的温度下成功的合成了形貌独特的单晶体心立方相的氧化钨纳米棒。研究发现,无机结构导向剂对氧化钨一维产物的形貌演化起了关键的作用。相关结果发表在Mater.Lett.(材料通讯)。

(5)研究了以上一些半导体纳米结构的光学性质,发现了相关的量子尺寸效应。
