【a】短冠龙生存在今日美国蒙大拿州附近。是鸭嘴龙类的一种，体长大约7米。它可能吃坚硬的植物，须要很多咀嚼，在白垩纪晚期分布广泛。

带肉的化石--就一只死恐龙而言，里奥纳多看起来挺不错的。朱迪斯河科研机构(judith river institute)在夏日进行挖掘，并且在最后一天的最后一小时，于美国蒙大拿州北部的沙岸上找到了恐龙化石。它属于鸭嘴龙类的短冠龙。
