水之谜

《水之谜》是一部1992年的美国动作片，由克里斯丁·杜瓦执导，巴特·贝克编剧，皮尔斯·布鲁斯南、罗恩·西维尔、本·克劳斯和莉莎·埃尔巴赫主演。剧情围绕一系列看似无法解释的人体自燃事件以及卷入其中并最终解决案件的炸弹处理专家丹尼·奥尼尔（布鲁斯南）展开。该片在华盛顿特区取景拍摄，原本计划作为夏季大片上映，但最终在有线电视上首播，然后在家庭媒体上发行。

剧情围绕一系列看似无法解释的人体自燃事件以及卷入其中并最终解决案件的炸弹处理专家丹尼·奥尼尔（布鲁斯南）展开。当一位参议员在爆炸中丧生，联邦调查局开始调查。负责此案的是炸弹专家丹尼·奥尼尔，他与妻子特里分居（因为他们唯一的孩子在他们的游泳池中意外溺水）并且行为非常反常。最初的调查并未揭示使用的是何种爆炸物或者是如何引爆的。最终发现由米哈伊尔·拉希德领导的恐怖分子开发了一种在人体内（通过胃酸）激活的“隐形”液体炸药。他们还必须向特里正在与之有染并且被丹尼袭击过的特拉维斯参议员汇报。

当该片于1990年6月首次公布时，原本计划由电视导演约翰·尼科莱拉执导，并计划在当年9月开始拍摄。

这部电影原本被新线公司作为夏季大片进行筹备，当时新线公司正在试图多元化其电影，但最终在有线电视上首播，然后在家庭媒体上发行，该片于1992年9月2日在HBO首播。
