1992年7月晋升副教授，1997年11月晋升教授，曾任兰州大学数学系副系主任、计算机科学系系主任。
2000年3月起在华东师范大学工作，先后担任信息学院副院长、华东师范大学软件学院常务副院长、学校学科办主任、研究生院常务副院长。
2013年9月任华东师范大学校长助理。
2014年12月—2021年8月任华东师范大学副校长。

主要成就
研究领域及成果
主要研究领域及成果：
长期从事计算机符号计算及其在非线性科学中的应用研究工作。在国内率先开展数学物理方程解析解的符号计算研究，在非线性数学物理领域发表 SCI 检索论文近百篇（他引次数达1615次）、出版专著一部。作为学术骨干连续参加国家攀登计划项目“机器证明及其应用”、“数学机械化及其应用”和国家重点基础研究发展计划（973）项目“数学机械化与自动推理平台”、“数学机械化及其在信息技术中的应用”等的研究。主持完成多项国家自然科学基金项目、上海市自然科学基金项目以及教育部博士点专项基金项目。先后获得过霍英东教育基金会高校青年教师奖、国家优秀教学成果二等奖和上海市曙光学者称号。[1]
