多萝西·吉许

多萝西·吉许（Dorothy Gish，1898年3月11日—1968年6月4日），丽莲·吉许的妹妹，两姐妹同是好莱坞无声默片时期著名女影星。^[1][2][3]

多萝西·吉许出生于俄亥俄州。4岁随姐姐丽莲参加巡回剧团演出。

1912年，14岁时与姐姐一同以《看不见的敌人》走上影坛。

无声片时期，她和姐姐均成为出色的明星，受到广泛欢迎。她尤以哑剧和轻松喜剧见长。她在伦敦拍完最后一批无声后，开始主要活跃在舞台，仅偶尔在几部影片中扮演性格角色。

主要影片有《玛丽的帽子》、《穿黑衣的少女》、《神秘的枪声》《姐妹们》《战斗的琼》《纽约夜生活》《心花怒放》、《姐妹们》、《战斗的琼》、《纽约夜生活》、《心花怒放》、《红衣主教》等。
