《All of the Lights》动用多位明星去讲述一个男人的自私驱使其妻离子散的故事。歌曲证明了坎耶·维斯特的自我能力和才华。对于前者，很难想到这首歌曲的合作阵容包括蕾哈娜和埃尔顿·约翰等歌手；而至于后者，就歌曲本身而言，从一个将背景设置为充斥着家庭暴力、监禁、强奸、父母离异和经济紧张的童话到流行的黑色作品，歌曲类似于Fleetwood Mac《Tusk》的嘻哈版本。尽管坎耶并没有在歌曲最后两分半钟露面，但却难以忘记这是他的作品。

歌曲MV由海普·威廉姆斯执导拍摄，于2011年2月19日首播，部分内容致敬了由加斯帕·诺执导的电影《遁入虚无》^[4]。视频以黑白处理的影像开始。摄像头跟拍着一位穿梭在冬季城市、在前往学校路上的小女孩，此时播放着《All of the Lights (Interlude)》。约一分钟后，这首歌的歌词和视频参与者的名字开始在屏幕上闪现。随后坎耶·维斯特在闪耀的灯光下登场，站在警车顶部的他开始表达自己的情绪。蕾哈娜和Kid Cudi则依次出现在各自的演唱段落。
